The Mews was part of Dovedon Hall, an impressive moated country estate just south of Bury St Edmunds. Bury is a thriving market town with Cathedral, historical monuments, shopping centre, restaurants ... and direct access onto the A14 trunk route linking Cambridge and Newmarket to the west, and Ipswich and the Suffolk coast to the east. Nearby is the National Trust house and gardens at Ickworth. To the south are the interesting smaller towns of Lavenham, Long Melford and Sudbury, and a little further on you can follow the River Stour to Dedham, John Constable country.
Please note we have a non-smoking policy for the property.
